Personality;
Personality; JJ is a determined young girl who, when she has decided she wants something, will do anything to achieve her goal. She is a perfectionist which can get her into trouble because she wont stop doing something until she has it absolutely right. JJ likes to solve problems, believes you have to work for you have and finds it difficult when she comes across something she cannot fix or change. While she is tough on herself in her pursuit for perfection she does not enforce that on others and is rarely critical of anyone but herself. The one exception is she cannot stand to be late for anything or when someone is late to meet her or pick her up etc.

She flourishes under praise and while she can cope with constructive criticism is a sensitive girl who finds it hard to not get upset when hurt or offended. JJ cannot stand to see cruelty to people or animals even in films and she still cries when Bambi's mother dies. JJ loves to perform and to get into character of whoever she is playing. She loves films and tv and watching anything her big brother or is fiancee Hannah are in.

JJ makes casual acquaintances with relative ease due to her sweet and generous nature. However she finds it a lot harder to make close friends as she does not really trust anyone but her family. However if she does decide to trust someone then they will be her friend for life and she would do anything for them. JJ is a kind girl who is full of praise for others work while constantly holding insecurity about whether her own work is good enough. JJ has endless amounts of patience which goes hand in hand with her desire to repeat everything until she has it perfect. She is also not afraid of hard-work and finds it hard to accept laziness or those who take what they have for granted. When JJ is dancing she feels free and the world around her vanishes until its just her and the stage.

JJ is a gentle, mild girl who believes in following the rules but not to such an extent that it constrains you and prevents you being yourself. She believes that you should always be who you really are with those you love. JJ is a sensible girl who believes pretense should be kept for the stage, lying is wrong unless really necessary and lying to your family is never okay. JJ hates to let people down and always wants people to know she has given her best. JJ is quite a shy and quiet girl offstage and is happiest in the background working away. However she becomes this confident, out-going girl on stage who adores to perform. As though she becomes the character she is playing in the ballet.

Likes; JJ adores dancing, her family and mostly her brother Luke. She likes pretty things, performing on stage, praise and positive reinforcement, when she gets something right, films and tv, anything her brother or is fiancee Hannah are in. Films and books with talking animals. Reading. Doing logic and maths problems fun. Curling up in front of the fire with a good book or a puzzle. Riding on the back of a tractor. Wide open spaces and feeling free.
Dislikes; When she gets something wrong, being late for something, when she sees cruelty to animals or people even in films, when she gets embarrassed over explicit things, when she comes across a problem - in life or in her puzzle books - that she cannot solve no matter how hard she tries.
Strengths; JJ is a generous, kind girl who is patient, hard working and dedicated with a sweet nature.
Weaknesses; JJ can be far too hard on herself and is a perfectionist who except the best from herself. She feels insecure about her own work a lot and finds it hard to trust others.

Background;
Jeannette Jones, known universally as JJ since she was a baby, was born into a loving farm family the eldest of what would become seven children. She felt loved by her parents, adored the open-spaces of the farm and from a young age always wanted to be out helping on the farm. When Luke arrived JJ, who was four, took an instant liking to him. No matter how he treated her, she adored him. As she got older he remained the person she would respond to the most and she saw him as a part of their family.

From little it was clear JJ loved ballet. While a lot of little girls dream of being ballerina's that was all JJ ever talked about. She would dance around the fields and the farmyard, spend hours in her room practicing twirls and spins and wish to do more than just ballet lessons once a week. It was clear she was a talented little girl and at age seven her parents allowed her to audition for 'The Royal Ballet School' in London, considered the best ballet school in the world.

To the families amazement and JJ's delight she got in. While she was terrified of leaving the only place she had ever known JJ knew this was the kind of opportunity most ballet dancers only dream of. So she made the trip to Covent Garden, London and settled into the junior division of The Royal Ballet School. She missed her parents a lot but flourished at the school and became more determined than ever to fulfill her dream of being a principle ballerina.

JJ wished she could see her parents more but her hectic schedule, the demands of the farm and the expense of travel meant that it was difficult. After the Muggle school could not be connected to the floo Network. Therefore JJ was thrilled when Luke, the person she had missed the most, followed his acting dreams to London and ended up settling in Covent Garden too. She hoped this would mean he would visit her and come see her perform in a way her parents could rarely do.

In Character Point of View ...

What do you want to be when you are older? I want to be a principle ballerina and then when I retire I will teach ballet to young girls like me. I know that a lot of girls want to be ballerina's but I actually have a chance to make that dream come true.

If you could change one rule your family has what would it be? I do not really know of any rules that I do not like. Though I do wish the ballet school did not cost as much so my parents did not have to pay as much.

How would the world be different if animals could talk? I love films and tv-shows where the animals can talk so I am pretty sure that it would make the world more awesome. It would be like living in a Disney film.

What is the hardest thing about being a child? Not being able to contribute to the endless expense of leotards, tutus, ballet shoes, tuition fees etc and all it takes to be a dancer.
