Basic Information;Full Name; Quaffle Bludger Snitch Wood (Drake)
Date of Birth; November 15
Hogwarts Year: Third
Age on September 1st: 13
Age on next Birthday: 14
Blood Purity; pureblood
Hometown; Westminster, London
Current Home; Westminster, London
Appearance;Hair; dark black, in a buzz cut
Eye Color; light brown
Height; moderately tall
Weight; roughly average
Body Type; he's not terribly muscular, but not weak-looking, either. he's got relatively dark skin.
Dress Style; He dresses mostly in robes, given he's from a pureblood family. But, when he does have to dress in muggle clothes, he dresses like the muggle rappers he likes: baggy, worn jeans, and a loose t-shirt. He isn't overly fond of the leather jackets and excessive jewelry, though. But he does have one gold and a baseball cap (that he tends to wear backwards), both of which he sometimes wears with his robes, as well.
Other (eg birth mark, tattoo ect); he got his dad to sign off his permission for him to get a tattoo, without him realizing what it was. So now he has a scantily-clad mermaid on his upper arm.
Personality;Personality; Drake has a lot of trouble telling people how he feels and why, or even addressing his feelings himself. This makes him slightly passive aggressive and always a little angry - it doesn't take much to push him over the edge. Yet he probably can't tell you why he's upset. When you piss him off, he can become a bit of a bully, and he can hold a grudge for a very long time. He's not particularly inclined towards forgiveness, though he does occasionally make exceptions for family - especially Glynn. He has a lot of trouble expressing when he truly cares about someone on a deeper level, and is really only just a little nicer. He sometimes wants to tell people (namely Glynn) that he really does care, but he doesn't know how and always chickens out. He doesn't really think things through, running mostly on emotion - especially anger. He has a tendency to be a tad misogynistic, and objectifies girls a fair amount. It takes a lot to earn his loyalty, but once you have it he will protect you with his life (or, preferably, someone else's). However, this doesn't mean he's particularly inclined to be open with you or to take your advice. He can enjoy talking to people for a while, but he has very few real friends. On everything other than opening up, Drake is really relatively fearless. He doesn't worry about receiving physical injuries, and he's not shy (he'll rap in the middle of the great hall for all he cares). But appearances are important to him, and he refuses to look weak in front of people - this includes not crying, but also refusing to seem scared.
Likes; rap music, wrestling, picking on people and fighting (it makes him feel better/lets his anger out), Glynnis, classes, playing around outside, getting muddy
Dislikes; most sports but especially Quidditch (he despises Quidditch and Quidditch players), his name, being ignored, being told what to do, being criticized
Strengths; he's physically pretty strong, he's actually pretty athletic despite not liking sports, he is actually relatively decent at rapping, he's very good at potions
Weaknesses; he tends to say rather offensive things (especially to girls), he can be rather violent, he can be a bit of a bully, he's bad at making friends or opening up about his feelings, he's not terribly intelligent and doesn't think things through, he does a lot just based off anger even when it hurts him (such as nearly failing classes even when he's good at them), he's not very good at wand-work, he'll take any dare given to him, he can be rather judgmental based on unimportant things like appearance
Quirks; he's oddly protective of his hat and gets really annoyed when someone takes it or knocks it off, and he sometimes snaps his jaw shut to make a noise with his teeth (often to punctuate rather offensive, objectifying comments to a girl)
Habits; he pulls on his chain to make it go round-and-round his knock when he's sad, as though that'll help him get rid of the feeling (an emotion he doesn't show in any other way). When he's getting really close to snapping but actually trying to stop himself (on the rare occasion that this actually happens), he'll run his hand over the top of his head - this is generally his last straw, when literally anything will send him over the edge.
Best Class; potions
Worst Class; charms
Background; When his mother got pregnant with him, it had been a long time and so she was paranoid and stopped flying through the entire pregnancy. But when he was born she was itching to get back on the broom for nine months, and immediately returned to work. Drake rarely saw his parents, and was raised mostly by a nanny whom he was strongly attached to - even more so than his parents. Thus, when his mother stayed home when his sister was born, Drake was always crying because his real mother-figure wasn't around anymore. But he never articulated why, though it didn't help that he was so young that he couldn't talk much. But he eventually made the transition. But after another couple of years, his mother returned to work, and his nanny (whom he had already all but forgotten) returned. But Drake got on alright with both of his sisters, especially Glynn.
As a kid, Drake actually fit into the family, and enjoyed flying on his kids-broom and everything. But by the time he was ready for a grown-up broom, he'd started piecing things together. He began to realize that the reason his parents were never around was Quidditch, and that his mother playing was what had landed his little sister with her disability. A combination of anger over both these things made him furious, and he decided he hated Quidditch, as well as any other sports. He also requested to be called Drake instead of his given name, which he hated for it's relation to the sport - he thought it was ridiculous. Plus, people at school noticed that and some called him Snitch to be obnoxious. He also avoided most of the people he was encouraged to be friends with, namely the Jordans and Fred and Roxanne Weasley, because he thought their parents' friendship was just another sign of his parents' Quidditch obsession. He only got angrier when he realized his parents couldn't seem to communicate with him after that - especially his dad. His mother wasn't much better, but she at least made the effort. But they didn't really seem to know how to talk to him or make a connection.
Drake never got on with Gregory or Gwendolyn as well as he did with Glynnis (though that was always shaky as well). Largely, though he never even acknowledged the reason himself, because he was envious of the attention they got from their mother. He grew up full of anger at his family - especially his parents - that he never actually released or admitted to, and he felt rather ostracized from his own family because of his lack of enthusiasm in relation to Quidditch.

Animal; None. All Wood kids get an owl when they go to school, in the hopes they'll be more encouraged to keep in touch. But Drake gave his to Glynn, who'd really wanted one at the time, to make a point (in his mind). So now he doesn't have a pet at all.
House your character feels they should be in:Drake had already decided he would be in Slytherin. He didn't even really think about why, though he knew his own anger annoyance had driven him to this desire. He didn't bother thinking if he had the traits to fit there. He wasn't really large on thinking in general, let alone self-reflection. That was probably his least favorite thing to do. So he left it at 'I want to be in Slytherin, therefore I will be.' Thus, these simplistic thoughts were already out of the way by the time he was ready to be sorted. He glared at Bentley when she used his proper name and corrected, loud enough for the whole hall to hear, "Drake." He then shoved past her, aggravated, and sat on the stole to impatiently await the hat's decision.
